actually cons would help to. i dont want it any bigger than 4mm (the smallest you can get tunnelers), so i was wondering, if i streched it and then changed my mind, would i be able to leave it out and would it shrink back?? ive got conventional ear peircings atm, so im starting for about 0.5-1m anyways so its not streaching that far. also opinions on girls with tunnlers would be great, coz ive talked to alot of people about it and most say yeah its fine for girls to do it, it looks great but a few have said it looks more like a guy thing. help would be awsome, any sort of stories of experience would be appreciated as well. ok, id just like to remind people that im tlaking 4 mm here im not intedning to do sumthing like strech them to like 23mm, just so you're aware, if you're going to answer, get a ruler have a look at how big 4mm and remember im NOT streching them bigger than this, so please dont warn me about how ear lobes snap and the massive saggy holes i'll have when im older, i dont want them that large, i just want something small.

No they won't shrink back, you'd have to have surgery to fix it and make it the way it was. I think it looks ugly. But This isn't about what I like it's about some thing you like, I respect your right to like what you like. But....... You are right to think a lot about this before you go ahead with it.
You need to also think about your future, what do you see your self doing in another 15 years. Choices that you make now can have an effect on what your life will be like later. You may not have thought about this. Making your self look odd, using drugs or a lot of choices can have a major impact in your life later.
I'm sure your a good person so please don't think that I'm saying that you use drugs, I'm not, just giving you examples of what could impact your life later. Food for thought
What kind of work are you looking at doing when your older? Think ahead before you do some thing that will cause people to maybe not want to hire you for a professional setting. Would you feel confident hiring a lawyer who had some thing such as that going on? Most people want people who look professional and behave in a professional way.
Some times the difference comes down to working at Mickey D's and making minimum wage, or being able to work as as a lawyer and possibly making over a hundred thousand dollars a year. Which would you rather do and which would you rather make. But do remember they won't shrink!!
Your life choices will be the deciding factor in what happens to your life later. Good luck in what ever you decide for your self.

As a parent I have to tell you that I think it's a horrible idea. I'm no expert on it but I don't think it would ever completely shrink back to normal. You won't want to hear this but guys your age ( I was there once) lose a bunch of brain cells and don't get them back until they are around 25. Car insurance companies know this, think about it.
If you are going to do something like this to your body that may be permanent and visible for the rest of your life then you need to put allot of thought into it. Better yet, go find some 50 year old man that stretched his ears all to hell or tattooed his face when he was your age and see how it looks now.
It's going to effect what kind of job you can get, what kind of girl you can get and it will instantly send a message to anyone that meets you. What will that message be? "Oh gee whiz that looks cool" or "Damn, what a dipstick".
So, I'd say forget it for now and if you still think you need to be mutilated 10 years from now then have at it.

The left aspect is the conventional aspect for a guy. the right aspect is gay and has been for decades. as long as you keep it trouble-free, a small stud or a diamond it will be ok. i don't think of you'd be apologetic about it as long as you're taking care of the hollow. it is a tiny wound, fairly. do no longer eliminate it for no less than six weeks. make absolute to exhibit the earring commonplace. from time to time, it may initiate to get sore or contaminated yet you should use Neosporin around the area.

Uh, well...I kind of felt the same way, same dilemma a couple years ago!!! But then, thank GAWSH, a girl came to my dance class and she had both earlobes stretched 12 MM (I didnt even know that was possible till I saw her!) and her ears smelled soo bad!!!!! It was horrible. The dance teacher had to pull her aside and ask her if everything was OK at home with her shower....It was sad, but seriously it is a stupid choice. It stinked becuase the bacteria in most stretchers bonds to y our skin and grows. i researched everywhere. Ew

Since you are 16, I think that you are old enough to understand that you are still a 'minor' and that you should probably wait to 'stretch' your 'lobes until you turn 'adult' on your 18th birthday. What 'seems like a good idea' to you now, may change by then ... and if it doesn't, then getting your lobes stretches will be all that much 'nicer' because you'd have waited so long.

it might be cute now, but think of the long term consequences. do you want long earlobes when you are 20? 40? 90? like i said, they're cute, b ut some people can go overboard with them by stretching them so much they break.

hey man.. i think its a great idea to stretch your ear i have mine like at a 4 gauge... and i freakin love them... you should do it.
and i think they look pretty good on chicks.. i mean sure its a guy thing but its cool when you see them on girls...

your ears will stink i used to know a kid who did that and we called him stink ears you will regret it when you are older and you have big stretched out saggly lobes
