From Skokie/Niles to downtown is $29.
Skokie to Evanston is probably ~ $15 - 20.

Alternative in case you want to save some $$$:
skokie to downtown Chicago $2.00 on the Yellow line el
Evanston to downtown Chicago $2.00 on the purple line el
Ohare to skokie. $2.50 take blue line to downtown Chicago and transafer to the yellow line to skokie

Stupid taxi fares. Im not sure how much you will need to spend. But they charged us $40 just to get from my house (which is 10 minutes away from downtown) to the sears tower. Thats crazy. We couldve spent $1.75 on the train but i was late for a appointment.
