do u think vince should go or jefferson? i think vince should go because jefferson is a better player when it was him and kidd plus, vince still hasn't shown that he is capable of being that complete player. he's nice, don't get me wrong but, i think he should go oand the nets need another big man and they should be good. holla at me!

what makes Vince more dangerous is the fact that he is actually viewed as a franchise player. have u ever seen him perform big in clutch situations. nope. think back to the days when he was a raptor, finally reached the playoffs and then the knicks just dominated him every year in the playoffs.
plus he's a free agent soon, and threatening to leave for orlando. just back the truck up already...

I remember the Nets before Vinsanity. With a player like Kidd, he's bound to make at least one player better than he really is. Same with any good point guard. And that player before Vince came was Richard Jefferson.
I will hate on Jefferson until he consistently hits his outside shot. I've seen him brick way too many jumpers to think he's better than Carter. True, Carter is no Larry Bird either, but at least sometimes Carter gets hot and starts raining in shots. I consider Carter a superstar because he can and will take over big games. Jefferson may have a great game here and there, but he doesn't take over like Carter does sometimes.
Plus Jefferson is not going to be as strong and fast to the hole if he keeps getting injured. The only thing that Jefferson has got on Carter is that he is younger (that and he looks like he hustles more than Carter throughout the entire game).
You're right about the Nets getting a big, but dish Jefferson, not Carter.
One more reason to hate, you got to mention Richard Jefferson as a starter for the Bronze Medal USA team in 04', while benching Lebron & Carmelo. That was garbage!

I totally agree with you! Richard Jefferson is WAY better than Vince Carter... I mean yeah he is a good guy but like you said, Vince Carter should go.

Jefferson is the kind of player coaches really trully trust and like. I agree that they should try to trade off Vince Carter before he makes a dash for orlando or charlotte. But who would take carter knowing he would leave in a little bit.

They shouldn't have given up on Richard Jefferson. But I thought u guys got the better end of the VC trade. VC can't stay healthy and when he is, he's been hurting the Magic team chemistry. I would gladly have Courtney Lee and Rafer Alston as my guards rather than VC.

I say both. Completely rebuild and start over fresh. Trade them as a package maybe for a dominating center or for a couple of guards because besides J-Kidd they dont really have any.
Also to they guy that said he is not clutch, I specifically remember hitting a game winning three and performing big in late game situations this season.
