Yes, you can purchase money orders and no other information and IDs is required.

If you decided to purchase money orders, please go to the POST OFFICE to do so.
They are only 90 cents there and if the recipient is another person of your age, they will be able to cash them at the post office FREE OF CHARGE instead of having to go to a check cashing place and pay all of those fees.
Everyone that you send one too will know where a post office is. Plus the postal money orders are copied way less than other ones due to the threat of federal prosecution.
You do NOT need id to purchase one there.

You can purchase money orders............they probably Cannot require that you show them any ID nor any other information

sure you can the only thing you got to have is the money to pay for them. you can get them for as low as 40cents. over the amount you want.
