I've gone there the last 5 or 6 years and have had no problems. It does cost a little bit but I guess it's worth it to not have to do it yourself.

Oh man I would stay away from H&R block they are horrible. Depending on how complicated your taxes are and how much you make, you can actually do your own taxes with software like Tubrotax for free. You have to make $52,000 or less a year and all you do is go to www.irs.gov and go from there but they will provide you websites that have software that will allow you to do your taxes for free without having to buy the software. If this is not a feasible solution I would ask family and friends about CPAs they recommend.

I have had my taxes done at H&R Block the past 4 years. I think that they do a pretty good job. Everything has always been accurate, and the best thing is you have options on how fast you can get your money. Theres allot of diffrent ways to file and they find whats right for you!

We had to have NUMEROUS amended tax returns made out due to H & R screwing up a few years.
We finally went to a REAL accountant and he caught all the errors and fixed them before the IRS caught them and saved us thousands !!
NOW we only have people smarter than us work for us !! I rather pay a highly educated tax accountant to work our taxes and to keep up on all the changing codes and laws. We will never go back to the discount preparers again and IF you do then save some money for a good tax ATTORNEY !!
: )

We've gone to H&R Block for the last couple of years and have been very pleased with them. Like most places, you will hear of both good and bad experiences.

Get a program for your computer. It will ask you the exact same questions and be way cheaper. They also come with accuracy guarantees. Turbo tax to be exact. I'm guessing you have a simple filing if you have to ask about tax places.

They will do the job you need them to do, and will basically just tell you where to sign. Be careful, though, because if you are bringing in a lot of papers, they charge you per paper. For example, one year I had three jobs in the same year, and because I had three W-2 forms, they charged me more.
