Not as far as I know. They are still talking to city and state officials about keeping the Penguins in Pittsburg. They are expected to make a decision about the plans in the next week or so.

First of all, I haven't heard anything about them moving, but for all you east coast retreads, Kansas City is in Missouri, not Kansas. Not sure if you know where that is, but try the middle of a map of the United States......you know, close to St. Louis, Omaha, OK City and Des Moines.....Plenty of places to draw out of town fans as well as a metropolitan area with over two million people to draw from. We can't help it if your arena is falling apart at the seams and your local gov can't get any funding besides some nickle slot machines for the blue hairs. at this point, i'd say they'd be lucky to move to KC.

I seriously doubt it. Why would Bettman move another team to a southern city, where football is the thing and hockey will never catch on. He has already learned his lesson from teams like Phoenix, Atlanta, and the Panthers. These teams have low attendance, minimal success, and are not widely followed.

I don't think you'll see them going any time soon. League wants credibility and stability in staying put in cities is the best way to do it.
If the team didn't have Crosby, Malkin and such a good team and fans now flocking to see them. I'd have said it would've been possible.
But not now.
