NATURAL PRESCRIPTION FOR DRY EYES
Check with your doctor to learn the cause of your dry eyes and to be sure that it's not a symptom of some other condition that needs attention, such as an infection.
Use artificial tears, which are available over-the-counter. Avoid brands containing vasoconstrictors.
Use a humidifier during dry seasons or when indoor heat Is on.
Protect your eyes from sun and wind by wearing sunglasses.
IN ADDITION TO YOUR DAILY SUPPLEMENTS, TAKE:
Evening primrose oil: 500 mg. three times a day.
Some patients have had success with evening primrose oil used as a supplement.
Because dry heat in winter can further irritate dry eyes, use a humidifier. One simple thing to keep in mind is to protect your eyes from sun and wind. If you don't already wear glasses, wear sunglasses.

It's surprising to see nobody has mentioned riboflavin, vitamin B-2. This can be extremely helpful.
The concern with any of the B vitamins that are singled out is that they work as a group and ideally should be derived from foods. There are some B vitamins that are thought to have not yet been properly explored or named. So a person consuming one of the B vitamins on a regular basis risks to develop deficiencies in all the others.
In my experience, riboflavin works fairly quickly if it is going to help at all. It should produce results within a week and the patient would cease to take it after approximately 10 days. Thereafter, a vulnerable or susceptible patient might take 1 100mg capsule just once every week or two. None of this is enough to disrupt the vitamin B synergy or cause any deficiency, if the patient has an otherwise wholesome nutrition.
Interestingly, riboflavin included in a commercial multi-B preparation does not seem to work for dry eyes. It is the vitamin alone, usually in 100mg capsules or tablets, that has a history of helping.
Hope all goes well.

There is no cure naturally for dry eyes. I do recommend you take a Multi vitamin every day to give proper nutrition for the eyes.
I have found a lubricant gel that creates oxygen in the eyes And really relieves the symptoms for extensive amounts of time. It is "Genteal lubricant eye gel." I have dry eyes and this is the first product that I find really relieves the symptoms and actually makes my eyes feel better from the oxygen. You can find this product at drugstore.com
