Very inappropriate.

I wouldn't let my daughter wear them, & I certainly wouldn't buy them for her!

Totally inappropriate! I don't have an issue with Playboy or anything affiliated with it, but for a 12 year old, NO! Kids around that age, especially young girls are very impressionable. Someone will make a comment to her, perhaps an older kid in her school, she will be confused as to what they are talking about and search out answers. Do you really want your daughter researching what those bunny earrings represent? Girls at that age already are starting to feel the pressure of fitting in, not being skinny enough, dressing in the right clothes, boys. The last thing you need is your 12 year old thinking that's what she should look like or worse that you think its ok to look like that (after all mom you purchased them for her remember). There isn't a soul out there that doesn't know what the Playboy bunny looks like and what it means. It will become all too easy for her to go to the mall to a novelty shop see more of the Playboy gear or to a book store with that mag. at it and seeing the symbol and looking into it! Be wise for your daughter's sake, just don't get them!

Are you guys serious? They are earings. Its what you make of it that makes them so bad. Im sure when she puts them on the last thing she thinks about is playboy as a porno magazine. If everyone wasnt so gutter minded and thought for one second.. this is a 12 yr old girl, no one is going to look at her and go "oh my god, those are playboy earings what a skank." Im sure her mother has taught her good enough values to not be influenced by a pair of earings ( to which she probably doesnt even know what they are and anyway what person do you know has put on a pair of earings and gone on a 12 hour orgy??) Playboy is a huge brand these days, its not all about sex. Putting on a pair of earings will not make you trashy, especially at 12!!

I say yes because she's pretty young, I'm 17 and I don't wear things that have a playboy symbol but I know for sure that if I saw a younger kid wearing them I'd be like "uh...somethings up.." even if it's a wrong impression..but that's just me..

It is completely inappropriate. You should be thinking about what kind of impression she will be giving off to everyone. You may think that theres no harm in it just because it does not literally spell anything. However, everyone in modern day society clearly knows what it stands for, as Im sure you know as well. I would not want my daughter to represent something like that, especially at such a young age, and I would never encourage her to do such "mature" things. More importantly, I would want her to have a sense of integrity and decency about her, which would completely contradict what her clothing statements are (whether it be earrings, shirts, skirts, or what have you).

it is definitely inappropriate! find her some earrings that depict a bunny or other cute animal that is NOT affiliated with smut. whether it says "Playboy" or not, it is a widely recognized symbol that all adults, including your friends, the parents of your daughter's friends, and her teachers will understand and most likely NOT approve of. I guarantee you it will probably only lead to embarassment!

Playboy earrings for a 12 year old?
How tacky!

All that Playboy gear is cheap & trashy, even for adults.
It's hardly the height of fashion, style & elegance (unless you're a chav).

Yes. Sorry, but Playboy is an international symbol of female degradation and careless sex; giving a twelve-year-old little girl one of their products is just wrong.

maybe. Playboy to me stands for objectifying women and displaying unrealistic ideal of women (big boobs, skinny, inflated lips etc) so I don't think it's terribly appropriate to give as a present for someone who is still a child. Do you think that playboy displays an appropriate way for women to be treated as sexual objects for pervey men instead of be treated as people for their intellectual merits and personality? If not, do you think that buying playboy merchandise is sending the right message to your child? that it's ok for men to treat you like that.

but thats just my opinion.
