Anna Nicole was an American creation. We, as a nation, built her together with our sick gossipy tendencies and our fascination with plastic, money, sex, and outrageous personalities. She was my generation's Marilyn Monroe, and now the nation feels guilty for destroying its toy. It's like Lennie in Of Mice and Men and his obsession with small animals. I find it sad that Anna Nicole had to be crushed to death by us.

She did not get recognition for doing something, she was only a recognizable face. There is a difference between seeking fame and fame being a by-product because you were great at something. People are making way too much of a big deal out of this. She was a pretty face but that was about it.

because she is in the public eye all around the world. and the rude people has no respect for the person who died, it does not matter if she was on drugs, she still is a human being. and didn't deserve to die. I feel sorry for her daughter that she can't even get to know her mother, and all she is going to hear about her when she grows up all the bad stuff and none of the good..

there's no longer something in the information top now to make this tale bypass away. Did you notice , the astro-nut tale went away today while Anna died. additionally, i think of that's amazingly unhappy that this woman is getting added information time then while President Reagan and Ford died.

Yes. The press is doing absolutely nothing but drag this good woman's name in the mud! I call this madness to the ABSOLUTE third degree!!! This little girl of hers will be in the limelight sooner or later! Can't the media at least leave her in peace for a change?! I guess not because of all the hype of this story!!

I know what you mean. She wasn't that great. Did you know America's oldest person and only surviving WW1 veteran died that same day? Nobody made a big deal about him.

It's always a big deal when someone dies; however, the press is giving this way too much coverage.

Yeah, all those that say they are sad, and she will be a loss, and they are shocked, WHY, did they actually know her?????
So another porn star died of a drug overdose, she was nothing but a gold digger, so if they miss her, stick a porn video in!
