I had a class ring stolen from me quite a few years ago and figured I should just forget about it, but it was my class ring with my name inside and I would like to know if there is hope in finding it.

Try your local pawn shops. Usually when jewelry is stolen, the thieves will pawn them for cash. Pawn shops usually keep a record of all jewelry they receive, though they may not have the actual ring, they can tell you if they received one like that and may even be able to tell you the person who pawned it, as some pawn shops require a valid ID when receiving such items.
