how do i convert videos that i already have on my computer so itunes can play them?

i have videora converter and xilisoft dvd to ipod converter but when i look under my files to choose wich one i want to convert the dont apear in the file and i even burned them to a dvd and they still wont convert

Well if you have xilisoft you just gonna convert it just open the program and click add and choose whatever you want to convert and click convert and that program should be xilisoft ipod converter or xilisoft video converter i have serial...
