I bank mainly with Bank of America. I am not happy with their service and I keep looking for a better one (there is not a worse one). They have bad service, bad attitude, and bad fees. All they have going for them is convenient locations.

I am looking for a replacement bank and have tried about ten banks in the last two years (Citizens, Eastern, Sovereign, Eagle, East Cambridge Savings, East Boston Savings, Stoneham, Brookline Savings, Central, etc etc). I start with a large deposit and usually last for about a year before a problem shows up and I withdraw it all or spend it down.

So far Eastern looks like a decent candidate. I have a Paypal account and a no-fee checking there and they may be the final answer.

I do my banking with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) I like them, I have been with them since I was 16 years old. 10 years now, wow that's good. I don't feel any need to change my banks. I am just a simple person with simple needs, I don't need anything too fancy I suppose. KISS (Keep it simple stupid, i guess)

I use Bank of America... it's great- there are plenty of branches all around the country and they have an investment bank as well which you can trade seemlessly back and forth online.

Wachovia,
and yes I am happy with them,
They have a multitude of checking, saving and investing options.
I have a diversified portfolio with them, and no matter what branch I go to. I am treated well.
Banking online is excellant.
