I'm 13, and in April, I have a vocal recital.
I am singing three songs, a romantic Italian song, a Russian folk song, and "Memory" from Cats.
It's a teen voice recital, and the other three girls are 17, 18, and 15 or 16.
Last year I was way too over dressed. I wore a black dress with a sweater over it. The other girls were mostly just wearing a nice cute casual skirt, and a nice shirt or something.
It is also a pizza party.
So, what should I wear?
I mostly wear Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister Co., and Lacoste. I can buy something if needed if you have anything specific in mind because that's when I usually do my spring/summer shopping. Give website links if you have any.

I hate situations like that, lol. You don't want to overdress(like you did last time) or under-dress(by wearing jeans and a teeshirt)
If I were you I'd wear:
*I nice, short sleeve blouse that stops at your hip.
*I skirt that goes to your knees
*flats
*if you usually carry a purse, bring it.
OR
*A long top that's like a dress.
*jeans with NO holes. A dark pair of jeans would be nice.
*flats or kitten heels

I say wear a knee length skirt(plaid is a good bet but like a solid plaid, like blue) and then a similar in color top/sweater such as a white shirt then dark sweater or something like that..and of course comfortable shoes...but really not a dress unless it's summery but i say a skirt is the best bet with a nice top..and everything like that..but it's really jusy depends on that you're comfortable inw hat you are wearing so don't over do it..

wear a mini skirt (black) from hard tail (if u have) and like a hollister sweater/nice shirt. If you have flats, wear those. Also, if u do ur hair, don't got crazy, keep it simple.

You should wear khaki capris with a really cute short sleeve blouse with a cami underneath. You should wear some fashion tenni shoes too.

well if i was you id to a skirt (not to dressy) and a nice shirt just wear something thats nice

Just wear a denim skirt with a sweatshirt......and some cool sneaks......I dunno
