This question is for Valentines' Day.....
even though some people have advised for me to NOT give my boyfriend a teddy bear i am still going to.
I am going to get him a teddy bear, a box of chocolate and i am going to make him a card....since i am making the card, i obviously want it to be special....
so my question is...would guys like getting a poem (about them/love) in their Valetines' Day card?
Because i write poerty and my bf likes reading it, and i wanted to add a special one for him in his card.....so (again) would guys like that?

I love getting poetry, especially if it was specially written for me, but different guys have different preferences. (Plus, I am a poet, so I'm kinda partial a little bit.)
I think you said your bf likes reading your poetry, so that's a good sign. Personally, I think it's a good idea.

well it depends on the quality of the poem and his taste.
There is a 95% chance the poem will suck - keep in mind i dont know you and not picking on you, its simply that writing is hard and lots of people do it badly.
Of course if he loves you it wont matter he will love it anyway.
Could you throw in a couple of bottles of massage oil with the teddy bear??? This last suggestion is assuming that you are over 18.

If that's what he likes go for it. A word of advice though, don't tell everybody what you are doing for your dude or what he likes. Keep some things strictly between the 2 of you.

If you write poetry and your bf likes it, don't doubt it, write your poem in his card. Surely it will be his best gift.

if he is totally in love he would like it, the thing is that guys are not that romantic as we are, but try it, if not you know you have to get another one for next year (boyfriend).
