Yes, they do and it has been a huge failure and waste of time.

The CIA doesnt use yahoo answers. But the FBI does. and the NSA well Homeland Security, whatever. I mean if you ask a hundred questions about murdering your neighbor, and then the guy across the street turns up dead, guess what? it wouldnt suprise me if they brought it up at your Probable Cause hearing. the CIA, i doubt it. FBI yes. I dont know how much of a technique it is as fas as gathering info, bur as far as getting written evidence and such, you betcha. any law enforcement agency that wants you half bad will exhaust every available avenue.

Well, under President Bush's nifty little Patriot Act plan, the U.S. government has a right to tap your computer and phones without a warrant nor a retroactive warrant. Nor do I see any reason why they could not force Yahoo or your internet provider to reveal your IP address. In other words, they don't need to explain why to you or anybody else, ever. Who decides if the tapping is justified? Well gee ... who ~really~ knows?

If they did they wouldn't have very much to go on. The answers on Yahoo (with the exception of about 10% of them which are intelligent) are replied to by young kids who do not know very much about what is occurring in the world.

Yes, the CIA is terrifically interested in who is pregnant, trying to conceive with boyfriend, thinks they might be pregnant, lost their boyfriend, has acne and needs advice on how to dye their hair at home with "natural" products.

Yes and there is a little room in Langly where case officers log on and troll for secrets.

It's too late to worry about that now. Best thing you can do now is to remove your hard drive and drill it full of holes. All the way through. As many times as you can.

Under the patriot act they probably can. Admin wants to see who disagrees with them so later those people can "disappear without a trace" (Bermuda Triangle-or ET will get them)

If this had been around in 2003 they probably would have been able to get more reliable information about Iraq's nonexistent WMDs.
