I would suggest that it is because when some women (or men) see other men as successful, it makes them feel secure and protected. Even more so if they have had experiences which disposes them to seek stronger partners.

This, however may cause problems if the man abuses this privilege and takes advantage of the woman/man who forms an attachment.

I would say, generally, it alludes to security and a comfortable life - and in sociological terms, a good life for potential offspring.

For me I think this question is interesting as now a days many of the men's power are made by money as all of us want to have a happy life,but ot have this condition we need money. You know but we can't stop our greedy at money once you get 1000 later you need more and more confuse will come.the only thing is to have a good mind of that men. The closer you can get to it, the more secure you might be, the more advantage you might gain for yourself. There are others who want to get their hands on the money directly, too.
