I heard just about every possible answer from my friends so you could just leave a guess like my friends or if you know for sure Say It.
I would appreciate an optional source.

In Windows Vista a USB flash drive will increase you're RAM, not in any other version of Windows.

No, it just gives you the same as another drive (but is moble). I've been using computers for 20 years and the only way I know to increase RAM is to physically install more. RAM is pretty cheap nowadays. And you can install it yourself if you have the computer owner manual. If not, search the web for your model and the answer will be there. Good Luck!

The feature is called EMD, or External Memory Drive. It's not as fast as internal RAM. Check out more at the linked site.

External drives have nothing to do with ram.

A flash drive does contain memory, but it is virtual memory (RAM).

It is the kind of memory that you can use to save files etc.
