Hello friends, I am so confused about love right now! I just got my heart broken by this guy who I was head over heals about for over a year! And now I have come to find out that one of my guy friends likes me, he is completely different from anyone that I have ever been into, and I never really seemed to have thought about him that way before! He treats me really well, and he is so cute and sweet! I don't know if I am starting to like him, so that I can have him as a rebound, or if deep down inside I really do like him! He really deserves the best and I don't want to hurt him, I don't know what to do! He does the nicest things for me he even bought me flowers for valentines day. I don't want to hurt him, and I don;t know if it is true love! PLEASE HELP!!!

Its not gonna be true love this early on. I'm sort of in the same situation as you right now... just go with it. You feel like you like him? see what happens. Its difficult to figure out if you really like him or not, but you'll know once you start talking to him.

Something I have found out about women is that they like affection and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. They like to be told how pretty they are. They like a guy to hold their hand and show public affection.
He may feel the same way about you and might have a crush on you but just don't know if he should go forward with this. Take your time. If you can keep your heart from falling too fast it would be a good thing. By falling in love and it not working out is the best way to loose a good friendship.

Frankly, my husband and I tell everyone that if they want to find a life-long partner, marry a friend. "Head over Heels" is nothing more than puppy love and fades quickly. But friendship is a type of love that can be everlasting, and you can more easily forgive a friend of their little faults that would end any other marriage in a quick divorce.

Me and hubby? Married 18 years, friends for 21. We weren't even Romantic when we first start dating...it was more of a, "Eh, what the heck. Why not?" situation. Our track record? All of our buddies who took our advice and ended marrying a friend have thus far stayed married.

Just be yourself with him, and don't try to play yourself as anything more than you truly are.

Move somewhat slowly.

It sounds like this guy could treat you well, and that is very important. You want a guy who cares about more than your bedroom furniture (and its usage). Relationships are kinda like cars, in that a lot of people (both guys and girls) want the super fast-moving ones that do 0 to 60 in nothing flat, but it should be remembered that those kind crash more. What you really want is something that is both reliable, and extremely nice -- It will get you where you really want to go.

And talk to God about it honestly. He can make the right things happen.

If you just got out of a relationship you need to give yourself some time before getting into another one. Stay friends and after a while see how you feel.

DON'T WORRY YOUR PRETTY FACE OFF ABOUT THIS MY DEAR! lol. All you've got to do is get him a valentine's day card that's very general. It's sweet, it's simple, it says it all. Well maybe not all, but he'll get the hint. ;)
