I'm not sure that would qualify as a science experiement. It could pass as an experiment in psychology- how movies and propganda affect people's opinions- or something like that. But an actual scientific experiment with controlled data and empirical evidence, probably not.
You'd be better off doing something else.

I think global warming is an EXCELLENT science fair project. I like the idea of a before and after questionnaire however i don't like the idea of the movie. I would use parts of the movie but I think that you should speak in the project. Also, i would incorporate a science experiment like the one at the following link.

it depends on how much time you have. The movie is about an hour a half long...if you go to the library you can probably find a shorter doc on the same subject. And I would also refrain from calling it global warming, and instead go with climate change, it's a bit more accurate.
inconvient truth is a great movie...but people won't sit and watch the whole thing at a science fair...you'd need a captive audience for about 2 hours to do what you want...and I'm not sure if you have that much time

that movie was very long i think you need to take clips out of the movie. aka the main points. make a poster board. have them write what they think about global warming or what do they know. then watch the main clips. explain whats happening in your own words use index cards. ask them questions to see if they were paying atention. then have them wriote there opinions. get some pics and descriptions on poster board. and good luck.

hmm..
I think that if i was given the exact same questionaire after the movie, I would know what you're up to, and seeing the same questions again would be kind of condescending or preachy.
Maybe you can be clever wiht the questions so that you are asking the same thing but in a different way. And add a few "throw-away" questions to throw them off and camouflage what you're really doing.
Such subterfuge and deceit will be appropriate, given the subject matter of the film. wink wink

While speaking to your Guests. Offer the suggestion that The Sun is going through a Warming Phase. And will become cooler in anothe cycle. See if they'll except that Theory. Over the one from Big Al!

We exhaust ourselves, quite literally, of anything, and everything; all of the time!!! (Unfortunately... it is in nature to destroy ourselves.)
We shall, however; burn ourselves out...
Long...long... before we could possibly burn this planet out!
The fossils that create our fuel, couldn't have possibly imagined; that they would rule the planet after death
Global Warming (Aren't we about 7500 years over-due for the last Ice-Age?)
