Asssuming that none of the students who wore glasses were also in afterschool programs, the answer for the least remaining is 27 - 5 - 12 = 10 remaining students.

Assuming that all the students with glasses were also in the afterschool programs, the answer for the most remaining students is 27 - 12 = 15.

Both of these answers are assuming no one was absent as mentioned.

Total = 27

Glasses = 5/27

sports = 12/27

Least = total - glasses - sports ..............assuming there are no students who both wear glasses and participate in sports

Most = total - (sports-glasses) ..........assuming ALL students that participate in sports wear glasses
