Not sure, but I think right after delivery, every woman still has a little bit of belly, like they still look pregnant a little. And I heard it should last about a month or so. I've heard so many horror stories of women not being able to lose weight after, esp if they've gained a lot like me. I started off at 104 and now... well let's just say I'm 39 wks now and gained ABOUT 60 lbs!!!!! hahahaha.. i know it's gross. But I hate it when people tell me that I might have a hard time losing weight. I used to be super active and work out a lot before. It's just that, for me, I found it really difficult to maintain while being pregnant and just couldn't turn down all those yummy cravings.
What I'm trying to get at is, I think a c-section may seem to give you a bigger stomach because of swelling. But flattening that bad boy out again may take some time but is most definitely possible!

I am the mother of three. My first two children were delivered vaginally. The last was delivered my c-section. After the first two, my stomach went down quickly. It's been eight month since the birth of my daughter. I still have a pouch. I also gained more weight with the first two than with the last. Good luck!!

It depends on how much exercise you do after you give birth?? The only reason a c-section would leave a pouch is if the doctor sews you up wrong, most if not all by now are horizontal cuts right above your pubic hair line. I have had both and neither one has anything to do with my pouchy stomach, me eating does !!! So eat healthy exercise when you get release from doctor and keep it up you'll be much better off.
Good Luck

I had my oldest natural and my middle child c-section as will the one im pregnant with and i can speak from experience that it is WAY harder to loose the weight after a c-section than a natural birth takes longer for your body to go back to normal to even be able to exercise with a c-section and its so much harder to get back on your feet you're gonna have a little stomach anyways cause it takes some time for your uterus to go back to normal it doesnt just shrink back up automaticly it took 9 months to stretch that big its gonna take i think its 6 months to return to normal size dont remember the exact amount of months but i know it takes awhile lol

i might elect vaginal if I had a call. i became in exertions for 21 hours and began pushing and each little thing became super. My pelvis became too small and her coronary heart fee commencing spiking so I had to have a c-area. My significant issues have been with the anesthesia. The epidural slipped into the incorrect area (communicate approximately soreness in assessment to something in this earth!) and then they gave me a spinal which numbed my lungs and gave my convulsions, so that they ended up giving me prevalent anesthesia and that i did no longer even see my infant till hours after she became born. What a unfavorable adventure, i does no longer desire that on anyone. Then I had my incision split open 2 weeks after the surgical technique, could no longer take a tub for days, could no longer use the bathing room or pull my pants up or maybe bend down for weeks. the pointy pains around my incision area are nonetheless stable, so i'm nonetheless recuperating at 5 weeks postpartum while with a vaginal i might of been feeling super interior each week or 2. So in case you have a call, choose for a organic beginning, I desire I did!

It depends. My mom had three (yes three!) c-sections, and she is still skinny. But an aunt of mine had a baby only once and she just swelled up. Before that, she was skinny. So it really depends on the person.

If you use a lot of cocoa butter during your pregnancy it will reduce stretch marks, and if you keep active afterwards, and not "pig out" constantly, you should be fine. C-section will also keep you from "stretching" your vagina out as well. Plus instead of dealing with hours and hours of labor, its over in less than an hour.
