In 2004, the Yankees and Devil Rays began their seasons in Japan. The starting pitchers were Mike Mussina and Kevin Brown.

In 2001, Texas and Toronto began their seasons in Puerto Rico.
The starting pitchers were Esteban Loaiza and Rick Helling.

In 2000, the Mets and Cubs began their seasons in Japan. The starting pitchers were Mike Hamptonand Rick Reed.

In 1999, Colorado and San Diego began their season in Mexico. The starting ptichers were Daryl Kile and Andy Ashby

And in the last couple of years of their existence, the Montreal Expos played "home" games in Puerto Rico as well as in Montreal.

yes i remember two seasons ago the florida marlns played a 3 game series against a mlb team that i cant remember during the regular season in puerto rico
