Port St.Lucie florida.. I am thinking about moving here in a few yrs from Indiana . Could anyone tell me about Port St. Lucie? Whats it like?, how are the ppl there?. Is it as expensive to live as Miami ? Is it true that alot of KKK live there? How is the nightlife and are there or is there alot of job opportunities there? And lastly how far is it from Miami ?

i've been there a few times,my mother in law lived there for 20+ years...its less than 150 miles from miami..we would fly into west palm beach and drive to psl...alot of retired folks live there but last time we were there it seemed like more younger folks were moving there..it's hot and humid in the summer months....not sure about the nightlife but im sure its nothing like the miami scene...we would spent alot of time on hutchison island at jensen beach,maybe a 20 minute drive away from where we were

My friend moved down there last year. She hates it. But that's because she moved down there to open a Hungry Howie's and her biz partners are awful.
I've never been personally. I'm not a big advocate of Florida. I mean, they have a lot hurricanes...
