Great question because everyone has their very own. I have a bunch, but I'll let you in on a few "gems." Some you'll find in a video store and some you'll likely find at your local library to rent for free. Here goes:
If you swoon for Romantic Comedies, try "Next Stop Wonderland" (1998) or the quirky "Splendor" (1999).
If you enjoy dramas with a twist, try "Billy Elliott" (2000) or "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" (1994).
If you cannot get enough of a good thriller, try "Blood Simple" (1984) or "Apartment Zero" (1988).
Ready for a good cry, try "Marvin's Room" (1996) or "Mrs. Skeffington"--a classic! (1944).
If you dig a foreign flick, try "Talk To Her" [Hable con ella] (2002) or another classic "Les Diaboliques" (1955).
If crime movies are your passion, I'd recommend two film noir classics: "Gun Crazy" (1950) and "Born To Kill" (1947)-- you won't be disappointed!
And finally, I'd like to recommend three other gems, so very different in their content: "Shine" (1996)-- brilliantly heartbreaking, one you'll never forget, "North By Northwest" (1959)-- stylish, fast-running Hitchcock classic, and "A Face In The Crowd" (1957)-- a fascinating study of the rise and fall of a rockabilly superstar, not to be missed!
I recommend them all as my favorites. Enjoy!

X-men the Last Stand. It's not even the last one. It's better than the first two wich were very good. If you havn't seen the first two X-men movies you could get confused if you just skip to this one so maybe you should watch the first two if you havn't already seen them. X-men the Last Stand has a great story and great action. I can't wait for X-men 4.
