One sweet simple red rose and a card to go with it would be even better. My favourite chocolates. It all depends on how long you've been going out with the girl for. If it's been for a looong time, get her something that really makes a statement such as a dozen roses instead of one and a handwritten poem that you wrote in a card just for her. I'm not demanding. Spending some alone time with her on that day, or setting aside that day to focus on her would be enough special for any girl and me. =D

I'm not big on flowers, jewelry, or candy, and stuffed animals are cute, but I'm an adult now. Not that any of those things would be a bad gift, but what would make my heart swoon is something that I have mentioned to my guy in passing, and he took note of it and got it. Girls are always seeing something and saying, "ooh, I want that", then they forget about it because they don't have the money. In just the past few weeks I have mentioned a few things, and if my husband were to even get me the $5 DVD of a sappy old movie I saw, I'd be happy! Guys don't understand gift giving. Make it personal. Listen to what your girl says, and if you have to, write a list. What do you think us girls do? My husband is amazed at the gifts I get him, but it is only because I listen and remember when he says "I want......"!

Perfume, candy, or a HUGE teddy bear. Or a combination depending on your price range. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, sweet little notes expressing your feelings always make us feel really good too.

get your gf godiva chocolates- found in department stores. Thy're expensive but really good. If you can't spend that money, get her a box of pecan delights and a card and take a walk together and if it's too cold bring along some hot chocolate.

A box of chocolates, a hand written poem, to spend time together, a sweet card, a stuffed animal. Any thing that would show that you care for her.

The cutest, most original thing (or evening) of significance only the guy and I would understand. Doesn't have to necessarily cost much. The little things are awesome.
