eureka bagless vacuum overheats after a couple of minutes of operation changed belt but it still overheats any suggestions?

Change the air filter. It's suffocating.

Make sure that the unit is not clogged. Reduced airflow can make a vacuum work too hard.

Also, if you are handy, make sure that the motor is not coated in dust and debris. Some units have cooling fins and they will not work properly if plugged, causing the unit to overheat.

Make sure you have the right belt,if its too tight that may be your problem....And be sure you put it on correctly there's a right and wrong way to do it...

the brush on the end is tangled up with hair or string. remove
