Liberals will always do what is convenient for them. They basically say do as I say, but not as I do.
Hope this helps.

It's beliefs and questions like this that purport the seperation of our country further when we should be joining together to get back what was stolen. Why does anyone feel the need to put themselves above another simply because of the ideals or beliefs they hold? What makes one better than another? Do you enjoy it when people mock your values or ideals? Is it pleasant when others generalize you into a large group that you do not necessarily fit into? My guess is no, so why would you do that to others?
Furthermore, if you are a republican, can I then assume that you are crazy gun-toting, woman-hating ignorant redneck who uses religion to justify death when its convenient for? Can I then take the stance that studies show that the majority of Americans are uneducated, that would mean most republicans are as well? Hows that 3rd grade diploma working out for you?
Dont like it when others generalize you into a stereotype? Then take some advice (the same thing I tell my kids) Treat others the way you want to be treated and if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all, because its better for people to think your ignorant than to open up and erase all doubt.
More to the point, should I mention then that those who wash dishes by hand are those who cant afford dishwashers. So its economic status that determines it not political affiliation.

Why stop there don't take baths either or wash your dishes clean them with sand. Come on get real conservatives and liberals use natural resources at the same rate the difference is one group (liberals) admitted we are running out of stuff but the conservatives stick there head in the sand ( the stuff we should be washing dishes with) and deny there is a shortage of anything.

Please educate yourself so you don't ask a question that makes you look stupid. 5 minute showers with a low pressure spray use far fewer gallons of water than a bath. Dishwashers recycle water and sense dirt levels in newer models which save gallons of water over refilling sinks and runnning water to rinse. I agree with the poster who said that "liberals" acknowledge problems and try to work with them while conservatives stick their heads in the sand. Talk about water, isn't that why New Orleans got out of hand, the conservative in office didn't even educate himself on the status of the levies in his own country when a viscious hurricane was heading that way?

I don't think water conservation is a big issue right now for most liberals...
I'm sure the ones that care, do those things you mention..
water is a problem in some South American countries and Africa... but me taking or not taking a shower here isn't going to help or hurt them any...
you know...there is a water cycle... I don't keep the water... it goes back to nature...

well using a full dishwasher could use less water than washing each by hand and most people take showers

Explain the legitimacy- wait, intellectual purpose of this question, honestly? I shower, but I do dishes by hand, what does that say about me other than what I have listed. Please, grow up, or at least leave your inane comments to a more immature audience; say, a group of kindergarten children?

What does this question have to do with liberals? Conservatives ought to be just as concerned with wasting water as liberals. In fact, the very meaning of conservative, implying conservation and preservation of traditional values and resources, suggests that conservatives ought to be MORE concerned with conservation that liberals. Historically, it is liberals who believe in unrestrained production, government spending, and increased freedoms for individuals. Conservatives have often traditionally supported restrictions on development and preservation of public lands, etc. Strange that today liberals are perceived as the only environmentalists and conservatives are supposed to believe in waste. That is somewhat of a reversal of traditional roles.
