To get a QUALITY puppy, go to AKC.org and look in their breeder directory for Rottweiler breeders, type in your state and you should get some idea what they are selling for, breeder names etc. Be sure to pick a breeder who only breeds quality AKC dogs, has both parents, the male has been DNA'd, the hips have been X-rayed and certified not to be at risk for hip problems. This will guarantee a quality puppy but will cost more but that will save you more in the long run. Make sure to get at least a one year guarantee in writing so if something goes wrong in that time you will get your money back or a replacement puppy.

You can go to www.petfinder.com! You can adopt any age or size rottweiler! You just got to find a shelter in your city. It's still a great site! Plus, some dogs are already trained. Save a dog's life. Get one at a shelter. Do not buy one at a pet shop or puppy mill. Very bad.

Rottweiler puppies are so darling. The have a common problem though. PARVO. Many Rottweiler puppies get parvo so have him vaccinated before bringing him home to other animals if you have them. Good luck with the new puppy.

She's my puppy. She's not a rottie but everyone thinks she is. She's a cocker spaniel lab X.
I suggest you find a local breeder and talk to them about when they are having there next litter

dont get a rottweiler.
theymay be cute as pupppies, but they grow up big, strong and vicious.
get a boxer, they offer protection when needed, and are great with children.
