I have a gorgeous golden lab who's hair gets everywhere. I find it never comes out in the wash, especially on black clothes, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Live with 2 big time shedders, and the malamute can really shed and it is long and seems to work its way inside our clothes. The best thing that I have found is to brush the dog on a regular basis to minimize some hair. When doing laundry, shake out the garments before washing. The dryer also works great for getting out hair. If there is still hair on the clothes after drying, lower the heat to the lowest temp and run through the dryer again. When you have clothes on and there is hair on them, put on a dry rubber textured dish washing glove and swipe your hand over the area that has hair. Works each time, especially on the furniture. I periodically run the couch pillows through the dryer to get hair out of them

I have a couple cats and one is white so I know what you mean. Try removing the majority of the hair before putting the clothes into the wash. Packing tape works the best I find.

well this is kind of off topic but there is stuff out there to keep your dogs hair in place it is called shed stopper and you can buy it at walmart. it helps get rid of the un needed shedding (it doesnt interfere with their seasonal shedding) and this is just a way to prevent the dog hair from ending up on your clothes..i too have 2 gorgeous dogs: a newfoundlander and a wolfhound mix and they shed something awful and i have found this stuff really works.

i have 6 cats and a dog. all big shedders.

if you dry them 99% of the hair will come off.

use dryer sheets, not liquid. liquid makes the clothes too soft and the hair seems to stick more.

first get one of those rollers, the dogs hair will stick to it, repeat a couple of times, then launder because just putting them in the wash machine won't do the trick, in fact the hair will stick more when wet, try the sticky roller it will make a difference, but you know what? the dog is worth it, they are such a wonderful pet.....whats a few hairs between pals...?

A good liquid fabric softener works wonders

throw them in the dryer, that will remove it, and use a dryer sheet.
