Yes! My father was a butcher, I remember when he would watch my dad taking apart the the cows with such detail, I never forgot. Now I'm an Artist I paint portraits of people and animals. I know deep inside that what my father did for a living, created who I'm now an Artist. No one else in my family is an artist.

I remember hearing my parents fighting and hearing my dad hit her, and my mother stop. I was hiding in a "closet" underneath the stairs. I remember my brother finding me and shutting the door and holding me while I was crying. I was between 2-3 yo. My bro was between 5-6.
I told my mother and godmother about this 4 years ago and they were amazed that I could remember every detail of the house that we lived in. The stairs, the living room, the bedrooms, the outside, and the stairs going up to my godmothers apt.

I remember sitting in my crib (mom says I would've been 2) and my brother gave me a dime and I swallowed it and started to choke. My daughter remembers things from around 2 also. Kindof cool.
