You might that is what happened when i had the flu. The best thing to do is miss your next day of work/school and go to a doctor before it gets even worse.

You may have a viral upper respiratory illness with nausea and vomiting, all of which is consitent with but not necessarily diagnostic of influenza (a particular type of viral infection).
