That is a great question! What I do everyday is set a little bit of like from 1/2 to an hour ALONE! In your room, at a park, or in your yard under a tree, and just breathe. If you smoke, then smoke and breathe. The balance will come to you at the very moment you lose your self in thought. The trick is to clear your mind, and there you go. I hope this is helpful.

Worship/meditation once a week
Your regular work schedule
Work out 3 times a week
Read a chapter of a book every day
And get together with friends once a week.
