i am looking at option c. but it has the wrong spelling.....
help please!!!

C is correct. Sharks and rays do have bones but they are constructed of cartilage. Bony refers to a harder non cartilage material found in the osteichthyes. Agnatha contain the jawless fish which also have their skeleton made of cartilage.

Sharks and rays have no bones they have cartilage and belong to non vertebrates.

In a multiple choice test where there is no "none of the above" option, *always" go with the closest answer.
Here, a minor discrepancy of spelling, one extra letter, is the only issue.

c is correct, and well spotted. It should be Chondrichthyes. Sounds like your teacher should write it out 20 times. i'll let you suggest it though!!

It is C but the spelling is wrong as you stated.
