You need to select it as your primary first..

If that doesn't work, consider your avatar kidnapped by the Yaholes.

I don't know it happened to me on a few accounts.
Even if it is uploaded and checked as primary sometimes it will won't show up on your profile for a day or two.

Go to your 360 page. click on my page. click on edit photos. select your avatar as primary.

i dont no i have an avatar but it wont show up neither
