Try drinking a glass of 'Ovaltine' (either 'malt' or 'chocolate') mixed in low fat milk every night before bed ... if you read the 'nutrition information' the glass of Ovaltine gives you the same 'basic vitamins and minerals' as your 'prenatal vitamins' do ... and it has LOTS of 'folic acid.' Also eat 'broccoli' as often as you can ... that too is 'high' in 'folic acid' ...

You can find folic acid in beans, leafy green vegetables, citrus fruits, beets, wheat germ, and meat. Studies have found that folic acid found in supplements (like prenatal vitamins) is much more readily absorbed that folic acid found naturally.

Any of the brassicas are a good natural source - cabbage, broccoli, sprouts. Spinach is good too.
