I am sick, sick, sick about the uneven coverage. We are lucky if the major news stations report one good thing done by our troops in Iraq a week.

We are told by our troops of the good things they are accomplishing but it is never told by the networks because it would down play the reasons they are against the war.

Granted no one in their right mind likes war, but wake up we are in one and if we continue to be complacent we will find out too late that we are in one and that the other side is winning.

If the networks concentrated on the good deeds and less on the negative I am certain that the negatives would go down and that we could start to regain some of the positive feelings from around the world. It might be that some of the other countries would think about helping out if they saw that the USA was getting positive press in stead of negative press.

Who knows stranger things have happened.

Personally, I'm sick of all the news about Iraq. Pity we managed to get into this situation in the first place - there's so much bad news that there's not really any room for the good. Besides, the press knows that bad news draws people like... like...

Darn, can't think of any metaphors.

What's the point of doing all the good they can if the overall situation isn't improving just getting worse. This isn't about individual or group good-doing, it's about the situation as a whole.
