Its summer, I'm at the beach laying in the sun, trying to forget my past, then he comes, a boy I thought I would never see again, he tells me he loves me and that he has always loved me, I can feel his words, precious gems, inside me filling the cracks in my soul and mending my broken heart

sorry it's in the past tense;
It was the last exam in high school. it was 1 AM and i couldn't get to sleep. i thought, what am i going to do later? probably get some sleep surely! the exam was faster than i could remember. the first time in my life that i felt free. nothing to worry about, no today no tomorrow. i went home and had the longest bath in my life. and sleep simply faded away. i thought i go to the movies the next day and i did.
