I hate those terms. If something did make me laugh out loud, I would probably just say something along the lines of 'that comment made me laugh out loud' I think a lot of it is to do with the fact that I am a bit pedantic when it comes to language!

Usually Im laughing really hard but Im not on the floor rolling around or having my *** fall off. Lol is usually just someone said something funny and it made you smile or something.

Me, I just LMFAO, laugh my ******* *** off. LOL is so boring, cause if you laugh out loud, it wouldn't be that funny. Laughing your ******* *** off means it's really funny and it makes you want to fall out of your seat and die laughing. That's what I always do.

nah.... usually i'll use lol when i have nothing better to say and i hate that awkward silence and i'll say lmfao when something is funny, but 99% of the time i don't actually laugh
