I've heard you can use peanut butter or toothpaste. Does that really work?

use ultra-brite tooth-paste....its only 89 cents at wal-mart...yes, it works, but just a little...not if you have lots of scratches on it!

they have a kit at walmart you can buy to repair cds.. its about 20.00 or so. look in electronics...

just buy the device, sometimes something oily can work.
