I guess that depends on who you are. If you are married like my husband and you try to get love on the net, then yes you are a big f'ing loser!!!!

i do not think this is desperate or degrading and i am not a looser!!
i met my partner on the internet and we are very happy and very much in love, we have no problems in our relationship and have not had a single fight. i find dating on the internet much easier than dating face to face to begin with, as you can have some very awkward situations and u dont on here. if the other person is being honest with you than you have no worries, ur gut can normally tell u this. i met my partner within a week of signing up to a dating website and we have been together since and we now live together. this is the best relationship ive been in and i think if u are sure in what u want, and r completely honest with ur self and the other person then internet dating is just a different road to go down and explore . its not just for sad lonely people!!

To me when people find love on the internet it does not mean there Losers or desperate it just means they cant find someone who can treat them right and with respect like they deserve,online dating is just like regular dating just becouse its online does not mean there desperate or a loser it just means that there trying to find someone just like them and i know it being online alot of people tend to lie about what they look like and how old they are but theres no need to lie about that becouse if ur trying to find someone who likes u for yourself,why should u ever lie about it,so heres ur answer people who look for love over the internet does not mean there losers and it does not mean there desperate.

I don't think that these people are losers or desperate. I believe that they lack self-confidence and social tools neccessary to date in the conventional way.

desperate if they don,t have a mate and a loser if they have a mate i got dumped because a girlfriend of mine found a boy friend ,some one got herpes from some girl on the net.

They could just be very busy professional people who don't have the time to go out and socialize that much. I could never do it but I am sure there are some decent people on the dating sites.
