"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"
This is in reference to that American who accused us British of "Sucking Our Thumbs" In WWII
The same idiot that thought the "Blue On Blue" By Americans, which killed and wounded British soldiers was OK.

Thats why i am so quiet all the time...
You don't need support, the guy was an @rse and i said that yesterday. Everyone in Britain could see that, most of America can see that as well, and the ones that can't aren't worth getting into a battle of wits with, because they'd be unarmed wouldn't they.

When I saw the ITN news and that American started speaking about his friend being a hero even though he had killed an allied soldier and wounded four others by his own mistakes, I have never got so angry so quickly in my life. His ill informed, judgemental views, and arrogance shook me, I knew some Americans were idiots but this guy took the biscuit.
As for the Americans answering this question try taking a look at what your fellow citizen said before you criticise us Brit's

You and rest of the civilized world know England held the Germans back much longer than the US ever could have. The battle of Britain is just one of the many examples of British bravery. Worry not mate. Let the bloody yank shoot of his mouth, history will prove it's hero's.

Yes you may.
Are you sure it was Lincoln who said that? I suppose it could have been...he was famous for that sort of thing...
Who accused you Brits of sucking your thumbs in WWII?
"Friendly fire" is never good. I know, it is a stupid name, but there you have it.
May I suggest that you ignore those who try to offend you. ; )
