Personally I'd say 2 or 3 times. Thankfully it's not everytime I speak.

The information on your link made no sense to me, I do know what Intuition is.

Regularly it can take about 3 times to get a question out, then I give up and they want to know what I was trying to say. I wont tell them then and they will keep asking. As far as I am concerned if they couldn't be bothered to listen the first few times they can forget it!

Say something interesting in a charasmatic way. And only give enough information to pique someone's interest. Then let them ask you for the details. Make them want to know what you have to say and then you will have their undivided attention, especially if you can make it seem like what you have to say is priveledge or special information.

If they are not listening on a regular basis then they don't really care what you say. Find a new friend that will listen to you.

I find that when i shout to be heard, it has the reverse effect. If i stay calm and explain myself, i get more response.

On average 3, and it drives me crazy.

I blame the TV...if it's on, there is no paying attention to anything else.
