Chase Young is the evil Heylin Tai-Chi sorcerer who lives in his secret domain, which is a hideout in the side of a mountain, most resembling the open mouth of a monster. The entrance to his hideout is a secret door panel on the face on the mountain (a running gag is that Jack Spicer gets smashed by the door every time he tries to enter). Inside the mountain itself is his citadel, which is surprisingly serene and contains mostly fountains and sculptures. Whenever he battles a warrior on the force of good, he wagers his or her loyalty to him. Once he defeats a warrior, he transforms him or her into some feline predator, generally a tiger, lion or black panther. Because he has many cat guards in his hideout, it is presumed that he has defeated many warriors in his life. When he needs to battle multiple forces of good, he is able to make them transform back into their human forms, and it is revealed that he has defeated good warriors from all around the world.
