The only book I've read by a Russian author is"One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. I've read it more than once.

Well my favorite book of all time is "The Death of Ivan Ilyic" so I guess Tolstoy is my favorite and that's my favorite book by him.
