I have several sizes. The problem is, I didn't know with this pregnancy (#2, 37 weeks) how big I would get. I got a few pairs of pants early on, then bigger ones later. The particular style you get depends on your preference. Early on, I liked the under belly panel, but now that I'm enormous, I prefer the over-the-belly pants. I would say, don't go nuts shopping yet. Get a few outfits at a time & see what fits you as you get bigger. I never wore plus-sized clothes, though, because even a large woman still has a waist. Pregnant women don't have that anymore.

Most of my maternity clothes were given to me because I had the hardest time looking for good ones on my own. Maternity clothes, in my opinion, are very hard to shop for, esp when you know that you won't be needing them too long afterward. I got those kinds of maternity jeans, and yes, they get uncomfortable when you start getting real big. But I just fold the big part under my belly. After a while, though, when you've gained as much as I have, you give up on the maternity stuff and just buy sweat pants and wear your bf's t-shirts!

I have 5 kids and TRUST me it wasn't easy buying clothes. 2 out of the three pregnacys i had a smaller belly and i bought 2 pair of pants and the lasted me the whole time. the other 3 i felt i was never gonna stop growing out of my pants. I would say that the way to go is buying comphy sweat suits that you can wear throughout the pregnancy, the good part about sweat pants is that the stretch to fit you but always buy 1 size bigger incase your belly or body does grow. hope i could help.

I agree. Jen, this is rude. now and again women human beings basically pick to search for suggestion from with different women human beings, exceptionally no matter if it really is their first being pregnant. How might want to you experience? i'm particular you've had a question someone theory change into stupid too.... besides, whenever you experience smooth! a tremendous variety of the maternity clothing out are extremely lovable, try vacation spot Maternity. i'm very virtually 17 weeks and positioned away my reg. pants about a week in the past. the version is truly substantive in how smooth you experience!

Ick, I hated those kind. They get really uncomfortable after about 7 months. I never wanted to buy those pants with the huge panel over the belly, but trust me, they are the most comfotable pants to wear once you start getting really big. I totally converted when I realized how uncomfortable the others were.

Buy the kind with a roll panel. You can roll it down under your belly or all the way over you belly, so as you grow you can wear then whatever way is most comfy for you.

i bought the under the tummy pannel pants for the first time this pregnancy....and let me tell you, i'm not real impressed. i'm almost 7 months and already have a hard time keeping them in place. not to mention the elastic kinda folds and puts more pressure because of it and is not all comfortable. yeah the over the tummy panel DOES look hidious...but you know what, somtimes comfort wins....and if the panel is covered...WHO CARES....at this point...NOT ME :)

I bought some of the stretchy waist ones at old navy and they worked ok for awhile but now they don't stay up. I did think the big panel ones were ugly ... but now you cant see them under your shirt and they are really comfortable !
