I just saw THE GATHERING with Christina Ricci and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't heard of it before and dreaded another of those "straight to DVD" horror films that just cash in on my insatiable desire to be frightened. I was happy with the story, it had me wondering and the creepy old church was interesting. Plus it involved the Catholic Church wanting to hide a secret and I love movies with stuff like that.

It Waits came out not too long ago, it is a horror film starring the gilr from Cabin Fever. I love picking up unknown films like this and getting a real gem, and it didn't dissappoint. I'd recommend it.
