The paper is different than it was years ago. It won't continue to burn for long if you're not drawing on it. This is to help prevent accidental fires.

clever egsample in logic some years back 2 drunks fell asleep smoking
so they got the excuse to put more chemical in ,
first to get it to burn [sulfer ] then by legislation over night to get it to not burn
they needed to put these in to be able to say these chemicals that are known to cause cancer ,do cause cancer ,thus that smoking causes cancer [by smoking the chemicals and bleaches they put into it] its so the nicoteen lobby can sell thier nivoteen patches when we give up smoking in discust
we cant talk about it cause smoking industry has a gog because its been made illegal
also these smokers have addictive personaslities that smoking helps to deistract [protect them from] but take away the smoke these addictive types become as the rest of the sheep, suseptable to the spin
govt control ,industry submission ,its just the plan destract the masses to get us into perscription meds and food substitutes.
to blame smokers not rulers again so many good but secret reasons.

The manufactures have added yet more chemicals to cigarettes to make sure this happens. If you die in a fire caused by a cigarette you won't buy any more. Now that they have you hooked they want to live and buy as long as possible, or at least until their product kills you by the normal fashion.

Some states require that yet another chemical be added to cigarettes so that if you are not actively smoking them they will extinguish themselves! I know New York requires it, but Connecticut, at the present time, does not.

They are self-extinguishing to prevent people from lighting their beds on fire when they fall asleep with a ciggy in their hands.
It's a wonderful invention, however you will also notice that the closer to the filter it has burned, the less likely this will occur.

If you are in California, they passed a law about some sort of paper that burns out so you don't burn anything up....like if it's thrown out of the window or someone falls asleep with it....so puff fast!

They put stuff in the paper so that happens on purpose. It's in case you fall asleep in bed while smoking -- so the bed wouldn't catch on fire.
