the process of meiosis is the same true, but if you want to find out how the sperm are produced, then i'll tell you.

Sperm are produced in a process called spermatogenesis. Back when you were an embryo, a germ cell divided mitotically and then differentiated into a spermatogonium, which are the stem cells which give rise to sperm. The stematogonia which begin meiosis then become the primary spermatocyte, and after Meoisis I is complete, it becomes the secondary spermatocyte. Meoisis two is completed, and the four spermatids undergo further differentiation, with help from cells called Sertoli cells, and then they become sperm cells.
