If you're asking how to stop them from coming by your home, call the local Kingdom Hall and ask that your name be permanently removed from their list if you're a home owner. Failure to respect your request would be illegal.

If you're not a home owner, even if you request that witnesses not return, most will do so anyway in six months or less to make sure new tenants have not moved in, which is strange, considering most leases last a year. :)

If you live in a development or complex, contact management, and explain the situation to them. They have the authority to prevent any type of soliciting, door to door preaching without monetary gain, etc on their grounds. That should solve the problem. Witnesses should be allowed to honor their religion, and non-jw's should be allowed to refuse to have any part of it.

All such schemes are a complete and utter waste of time!

Many of your neighbors have figured it out, and it's really quite simple:
1. Open the door
2. Smile (optional)
3. Ask "Jehovah's Witness?"
4. Receive affirmation
5. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested"
6. Gently close the door (slamming is rude, but your prerogative)

Please recognize that Jehovah's Witnesses are not primarily interested in converts, but in working to obey Jesus' command to preach (Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19,20).

The best way to learn what to do to stop JWs is to contact a synagogue and talk to the Rabbi.

Ask him how the ancient Jews got rid of the Christian Jews when they went from house to house telling their brethren that the beliefs, rituals, and holiday observances that they have followed for hundreds of years was no longer valid?

I’m sure they had ways to get rid of the members of this cult started by a lower class, uneducated Carpenter, who was executed for cause by the governing authority. These followers were also lower class, uneducated individuals, such as Peter, a failed fisherman, and Matthew, a tax collector.

Lacking any kind of education, let alone advance religious education, it was clear they were brainwashed.

Saul of Tarsus, a highly educated individual, repeatedly proved they were a false religious sect, creating their own scriptures (Bible) instead of relying on the only true scriptures which had been used by the Jews for hundreds of years. He stood by as the true people of God stoned these so-called Christians.

So, just take a lesson from the ancient Jews. What worked for them against the Christian cult should work against the JWs.

i had this problem when i use to live in Brampton Ontario,

politely tell them not to disturbed you anymore and if possible to add you to a list of homes not to contact,
unfortunately this particular group did not have a list so,after a couple of request at lest once a week,they still came around,
i added a sign to my window

"please NO solicitors including Jehovah Witness"

it worked like a charm and i never received a knock at the door afterwards, good luck

If you're serious about it, just look up the closest Kingdom Hall in your phone book and call them and ask them not to call on you again and they will take you off their list for at least a year or two.

lol .... well in ohio we got alot of cold weather and snow and all my friends and family know to use the back door at my house... so ice the front porch down really well .... so they can fall and knock thier front 2 teeth out for being so irritating

Go to the door and pretend you cannot speak English, they will get the message. If that does not work go to the door with a robe on and nothing else, let the robe fall open alittle, that will scare them off. =)
