No sorry its much more serious than that. The site has been shut down due to serious legal issues, extenuating from a legal case in europe. It may return someday but don't hold your breath.

The only thing that I can think of is that they're down for a massive overhaull or the got slamed with a nasty virus.

Damn, damn and damn! I don't know why there would be a problem, its a pity I loved that site having been on there for years. I can't imagine what the legal issue would be as they were very, very strict.
